We just heard back from Jake’s rep who insists this photo is not real. Grab a look while you can, people, because we hear it’s going to be taken down as fast as he and Taylor Swift called it quits. Fingers crossed that one day Jake will proudly be able to give us his best Grace Jones!
If you’ve ever wondered whether Jake Gyllenhaal prefers boxers or briefs, the answer is a resounding…briefs.
And check out the photographic evidence to prove it!
Get a load of hose tighty-whiteys hugging Jakey’s taut tuchus in this semi-scandalous photo, which popped up on the netz Sunday and seemingly came from nowhere.
So what’s that flaming flamingo pose and why is he nearly naked?

It ain’t a yoga class on a nudist retreat!
Taking a page out of the Amber Rose handbook, seems Gyllenhaal is recreating Grace Jones’ iconic photo from the cover of her album, Island Life.
Because doesn’t every superhero dude love listening to Grace Jones and mimicking the flamboyant singer’s poses?
The real question is: Who took the photo and how does JG get such buns of steel?
We are dying to know who was on the other end of that camera, and what made him feel like getting his disco butt on? Obviously, the photog’s someone Jake feels super comfortable with and is also a major fellow Jones fan. Let the guessing game begin!
(Proabably safe to rule Taylor out.)
While Gyllenhaal’s rep says she is super busy at the moment, we are promised further deets on the photo as soon as they are made clear!
One thing that is clear—Gyllenhaal is apparently hiding a certain side from us!
Could this photo be any, um, less typical downtime for a big-action movie star? Well, other than those ugly socks that match the seedy carpet.
Jake, where’s the real you been hiding all these years?! Under your Brokeback Mountain cowboy hat, perhaps?
We just can’t quit you, Jake.

Chord Overstreet was apparently so over his signature hairstyle.
Just days after Dianna Agron got up close and personal with a pair of scissors, her Glee costar’s lovely locks have met a similar fate.
However, Chord decided to take it one step further by going from blonde to brunette!
The 22-year-old hottie debuted his new darker ‘do this weekend at KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango concert in L.A.
So what do you think? Are you singing its praises?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie caused a crowd frenzy in Cannes with the simple act of holding hands. OK, make that the two most famous and perfect-looking people on the planet were holding hands.
The duo’s PDA was on display as they visited a French restaurant last night and had a romantic meal, perhaps celebrating the announcement that Jolie’s directorial debut was picked up by a distributor and the premiere of Pitt’s latest prestige pic, the Terrence Malick-helmed The Tree of Life.
So who purchased Jolie’s controversial film on the Bosnian War? And what did the reviewers say about Pitt’s performance?

First Jolie’s movie, which is set during the Bosnian War and focusing on a fictional romance between a Bosnian woman and a Serbian man. The film made headlines for its trouble-plagued shoot. The production was initially banned from being filmed in Sarajevo after Bosnian officials had concerns with the script, then it wrapped early in the country and decamped to Budapest.
Well, after months of calling the movie variations on Untitled Angelina Jolie Project, we have learned that the official title is In the Land of Blood and Honey and it will be released by FilmDistrict, a subsidiary of GK Films, in the U.S. on Dec. 23.
Meanwhile, Pitt’s latest endeavor is earning decidedly mix notices. Sure, his flicks tend to polarize critics, but there have been huge expectations this time out, seeing that he’s starring with Sean Penn in a drama by the iconoclastic Malick, who has made just five movies in his 40-year career and whose rare output usually sends critics into a tizzy.
The Hollywood Reporter likens the movie to 2001: A Space Odyssey, claiming Tree is “hardly a movie for the masses and will polarize even buffs.” But the review goes on to say that there are “great, heady” things in the film, “both obvious and evanescent,” that will qualify it as an “exceptional and major film.” And the trade hails Pitt’s performance as one of his fines.
Variety calls the movie an “extraordinary” and “transfixing” through time and memory.
And then there are the outright haters.
Entertainment Weekly gave Tree a big thumbs-down, describing the movie as a sermon that goes off on too many tangents.
Movieline bashed it, too, calling the film a “gargantuan work of pretension and cleverly concealed self absorption” in which Malick pays more attention to the gorgeous photography than he does to the characters.
Either way, it’s generating major Oscar buzz for Pitt—besides, he gets to make googly eyes at Angelina Jolie over dinner on the Riviera, so it’s really a no-lose deal.

It was about 18 months ago that Joe Jonas first hinted that he plans to go solo.
He exclusively told us back then that he was in the studio and had already written about five songs.
Well, the time has finally come…

Joe’s first single, “See No More,” has a release date.
The tune, co-written by Jonas and Chris Brown (yes, that Chris Brown) will first hit radio on June 3 followed by going on sale digitally on June 13.
“It’s an emotional song that I’ve been trying to go with for awhile now,” Jonas told E! News on Saturday at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango concert series. “I feel like, a lot of times for artists it’s important for them to just write out how they’re feeling in their music, and I was able to do that in this song.”
Jonas said he was inspired by “different things I was going through and the place I was at in my life.”
No word if said inspiration includes ex-girlfriends like Taylor Swift, Ashley Greene and/or the infamous drama involving Demi Lovato.
As for the entire debut solo album, that doesn’t hit stores until Sept. 6.
Joe follows in the out-on-my-own footsteps of younger brother Nick, who took a break from the famous trio when he released an album with his band, Nick Jonas and the Administration.
Now we want to hear from you. Looking forward to Joe’s solo debut? Does he have what it takes to make it on his own? Sound off below.

How do you show you’re serious about sobriety?
If you’re Lindsay Lohan, you head to a booze bash at Chateau Marmont—and you bring your underage sister.
The very same day she swore to friends that she plans to stay sober for life (not just during her court-mandated probation), she hit the DeLeón Tequila two-year anniversary party with her 17-year-old sis Ali Lohan in tow:

She was spotted by the bar at Chateau Marmont, hanging with Marilyn Manson, but Lindsay tells us exclusively that she wasn’t ordering cocktails. She was just simply attending the party to support the band.
“I don’t drink,” the troubled actress tells E! News today, adding “I was there to see The Kills because my friend’s in the band.”
Fellow guest Mischa Barton certainly seemed like she was having herself a good time.
“She came down from the party with a glass of wine in hand and tried to get into the locked pool area,” an eyewitness tells me, “At the end of the evening, she had partygoers help her put her outfit together after she returned from the bathroom.”
That’s what friends (or assistants) are for, right?

That’s one way to get attention at Cannes!
This up-and-coming actress showed off her goods while premiering her movie at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France this week.
Think you know who hit the red carpet braless? (Hint: She’s got famous siblings.)

It’s Elizabeth Olsen, sans bra, at the premiere of Martha Marcy May Marlene.
And like the press-savvy younger sister she is, she rocked a dress from The Row, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen‘s line for her big debut in France.
If you’re going to get looked at and written about, you may as well give your sisters’ fashion line some press too, right?
The 22-year-old, who was quite the media darling at Sundance in January, is quickly making a name for herself in Hollywood.
And it probably doesn’t hurt that she’s not shy about showing some skin, too!

Remember when Britney Spears used to walk around in bare feet, eating Cheetos and shaving her head?
Yeah, those were sad times.
These days, the “Toxic” singer is back on top, but one bit of her past just won’t go away—the singer’s ex-manager Sam Lutfi. We already knew he filed a defamation lawsuit against Spears and her parents Lynne and Jamie, claiming they ruined him with claims he drugged and harassed the singer during her breakdown.
But now Lutfi, who is still under a restraining order to stay away from Spears, wants her to testify. But her parents are claiming she’s “mentally incapable” of doing so.
So what’s he planning to do?
MORE: Read the court docs here
Lutfi filed a motion last week in Los Angeles County Superior Court, insisting Spears is well enough to testify when it goes to trial.
Lufti hired expert witness Joshua Pretsky, an assistant professor of psychiatry at UCLA, to break down the pop star’s recent behavior, most notably take notes on her world tour, an interview with Ryan Seacrest and an MTV documentary she starred in.
And guess what? Based on those factors, Pretsky told the court that she seems more than capable of testifying in the case.
“In the Ryan Seacrest interview, which was recorded approximately two months ago, Britney Spears is interviewed at length, and she responds logically and coherently to questions, evidencing logical thinking and mental competency,” the witness states.
“In my opinion, there is good cause to conduct an independent medical examination to investigate the conservators’ claim that Ms. Spears is not capable of testifying, and the claim that she was not mentally competent to enter into a binding contract…”
According to his lawsuit, Lufti is asking the court to conduct the examination, but her parents will not produce her for a deposition on the grounds that she is “mentally incapable.”
The ex-manager is asking that a doctor conduct a three- to five-hour interview with the singer to determine her mental state, and he is also asking for access to her medical records.
Spears’ mom had detailed her daughter’s time with Lutfi in the memoir, Through the Storm, claiming Lutfi drugged her daughter, cut off her phones and manipulated her before he got the ax.
For his part, Lutfi claims the singer’s life was a wreck before he ever entered the picture, is still battling after an appeals court refused to toss the suit last November.
When you consider all this, maybe things still are a little sad for Britney.
